An intensive to provide healthcare providers personal and professional tools to support processes of embodiment and to foster self-care practices, internal resilience, and connection to self and in the work we do with others.
Objectives:
-Practice sustaining and maintaining connection with self
-Cultivate internal resilience: maintaining internal balance
-To define embodiment and understand how it relates to our personal and professional life
-Learn specific techniques to support our process of becoming embodied
-Develop a greater sense of self-awareness
-Explore the relationship between self-care and embodiment
-Finding your authentic self through connection in the room with clients
-Learn about the traditions of yoga therapy, art therapy, psychodrama, and Somatic Experiencing and how they support the work of embodiment
-Learn skills in embodiment to bring to your clients
-Learn about the science of breath, physiology, self-regulation and co-regulation and how this supports embodiment
