I offer brief therapy for trauma resolution and personal evolution. You might be experiencing barriers to aliveness such as disconnection, flashbacks, numbness, hypervigilance, agitation, pain syndromes and from known or unknown origins. This work will increase your capacity to be present to an expanded range of both distress and joy, giving you deeper access to life. Somatic Experiencing is also helpful in improving your connection with your mind, body and developing a long lasting integration of these dimensions of self. The technique works by increasing the felt sense of your body while re-training your central nervous system to organically move towards peace.
Individual Therapy works when you are seen, heard and understood. I listen for the story that the body wants to tell. Sessions are guided by Somatic Experiencing, Mindfulness, Yoga-Informed Psychotherapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Imaginal Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), intuition and authentic compassion. I am here to support you in the awakening of your own healing potential and towards the fullest expression of your aliveness.
We will collaborate on the length of the work, which typically can be short-term, depending on the presenting concern. This work can also be done adjunctly and in partnership with your primary provider.
